Ralph
and Cathy Oats Support Katrina Disaster Relief

8, 2005 — Plano, Texas — Watching the destruction
and aftermath of Hurricane Katrina has brought many people
together, including WIN Founders, Ralph and Cathy Oats, to
support those living through the natural disaster. Because
the Oats feel very fortunate to be blessed with a successful
company, Wellness International Network, Ltd, and a prosperous
lifestyle, they wanted to make a difference in the lives of
others with their financial support. The Oats chose the Dallas
Chapter of the American Red Cross to aid victims through the
organization’s disaster relief fund for a generous contribution.
“We
are very grateful to be in a position to lend a helping hand
during this critical time of need,” says Cathy. “Our
business is dedicated to helping others improve their health
and financial wellness. After seeing the destruction that
took place in so many communities we felt the need and responsibility
to do what we could for Katrina’s victims.”
As
owners of a large international company, the Oats are in a
unique position and encouraging the thousands of people involved
with WIN, distributors and employees, to make contributions
to the relief efforts as well. “It’s a desperate
time for the people of the Gulf Coast,” says Ralph.
“Encouraging others to offer any kind of aid they can
is the least we can do for our fellow mankind. We are happy
to have such a large network of great people that have the
means and desire to help others.”
Distributors
are helping people devastated by Katrina with their donations
of cash and business proceeds and Corporate WIN employees
are organizing clothes and food drives for the victims as
well.
