Wellness International Network Reaching Out
to Hurricane Ike Victims
October 8, 2008 – Plano, Texas – Wellness International Network, Ltd. (WIN), an undisputed nutritional leader known for its anti-aging supplement WIN CoQ10™ and top-selling weight management line BioLean® System, recently sent supplies and relief to help Hurricane Ike victims in south Texas as the Category 2 storm killed 51 people and left thousands of people homeless last month. Wellness International Network donated 750 bottles of its high-quality WINSalon™ Hydra Therapie Shampoo, WINSalon™ Hydra Therapie Conditioner and WINSpa™ Hydra Therapie Cleanser to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, which is taking an active part in helping hurricane victims. With an unwavering commitment to helping others, Ralph Oats and Wellness International Network have consistently lent support to charitable organizations for more than 15 years, such as the American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, the Wheelchair Foundation and Hearts Together for Haiti.
“We understand the importance of reaching out to others and emphasize that vision here at Wellness International Network,” shares Ralph Oats, WIN Founder. “Cathy and I started Wellness International Network for people to realize their true potential, and we believe helping others is an important part of that reality.”
For more than 15 years, Wellness International Network distributors have followed the example of WIN Founders Ralph Oats and Cathy Oats. Dr. Marcellino D’Ambrosio, a distributor from San Antonio who has a doctorate degree in Theology, stays immersed in charity work in the south Texas community, also offering assistance to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. D’Ambrosio, a contributing author of the New York Times best-selling book A Guide To the Passion: 100 Questions about The Passion of the Christ, who has also appeared on Fox News’ Geraldo Rivera and Bill O’Reilly, continues to work with several non-profit organizations.
“Wellness International Network has always promoted a culture of giving to those most in need— especially to sick children around the world from Texas to Haiti to Holland . This is one of the reasons Susan and I made a decision to get involved with Wellness International Network 10 years ago and why we've always been proud to be Wellness International Network distributors,” shares D’Ambrosio. “Our goal is help people to have more, so they can give more. The very first step of our business has always been giving, so it is natural to give our products as a gift to those struck by misfortune.”
“We appreciate the opportunity to play a small role in the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston’s effort to help Texas families in need,” shares Ralph Oats.
