Derek, age 28, has struggled with learning difficulties since his birth, which was three months premature. As a child, grade school was challenging and it was decided he attend a school specializing in learning difficulties and remedial interventions where he still was unable to get the extra attention he needed.

Finding gainful employment became the next obstacle as the call for secondary and tertiary education levels was a high priority in South Afirca. Derek’s mother Alta, became a WIN distributor and began giving Derek WIN’s products, starting with Winrgy®, Food For Thought® and Clarity®. The dramatic changes that ensued were life-changing. Derek was at the time working at a major supermarket as a merchandiser; working long hours that required a lot of energy and focus, but thanks to the products he was easily able to keep up his pace. His attitude and persona improved so much that his superiors took notice and decided to send him for further training at their expense, in order to move him up into administration. Wanting to continue his education, he began attending a local college and obtained a certificate in Computer Technology in Retail and Wholesale, with a 95 percent pass rate, surpassing most of his classmates!

He’s proud of his accomplishments and feels for the first time that he’s able to dream about his future because there are no limits to what he can do.
