When meeting Vernon and Rachel for the first time, most would think they are one of most vivacious, energetic and fun-loving couples around. Two years ago though, they weren’t even sure how much longer they’d be sharing their lives together.

Imagine being on a cruise vacation, ready to enjoy the beautiful sites and relax in the luxurious atmosphere… but then find yourself in an emergency room being told you had about three days to live. This was the experience of Vernon and Rachel. While on a 15-day cruise Vernon’s cholesterol and blood pressure spiked to extremely dangerous levels. “This was not the first time, but I wasn’t about to give up on him or swallow that bit of information,” shares Rachel adding that his cardiac and cholesterol health issues were a major concern to them both. Not wanting anyone to know how he was suffering, Vernon put on a front of being fine and healthy, especially at work in their spa and salon. “I would go to work everyday and be that same energetic person, but when I would leave on Friday, I wouldn’t be able to move for like three days. I had burned myself out trying to make sure they didn’t know I was that sick,” he shares, adding that it was frightening watching his health disintegrate. Meanwhile, Rachel was also dealing with health issues of her own regarding her weight.

Shortly after their trip, Vernon and Rachel were introduced to WIN’s products by Micheal, including Phyto-Vite®, Essential®, WINOmeg3complex™, Winrgy®, Food For Thought®, BioLean® and BioLean Free®. After two weeks, Rachel lost 12 pounds and that was only the beginning! Over a period of six months she lost a total of 65 pounds, going from a size 14 to a size 4! Meanwhile, Vernon also began using WIN’s products and dropped 42 pounds. “We’ve lost a total 107 pounds!” says Rachel. The changes in both of them have been astounding. “If you met me 10 or 20 years ago, you would have said, ‘This is the person I knew!’ I’m back almost better than I was before!” says Vernon adding that his doctors are very pleased with his weight loss and improved health. “Two and a half years ago I felt almost dead, and now I’m here. So that’s kind of amazing.” Vernon regularly has blood work done to make sure that he’s still doing well. “My doctor wrote me a note saying, ‘I’d really like to meet you sometime,’” laughs Vernon, grateful for his new outlook on life.

Now Vernon and Rachel are enjoying life the way they want to, feeling like themselves again — on top of the world. “We had to take responsibility for our health situation and give ourselves our lives back,” says Vernon, adding that their health is something worth fighting for and they refuse to accept defeat. That’s the message they’ve learned in their journey to gain back their health, and what they’re focused on helping other people appreciate as well, as they passionately share how WIN has forever changed their lives.
