 “I was desperate and felt that I was leading a dysfunctional lifestyle,” shares Peter of Capetown, South Africa. “I felt much older and sickly than I would have expected for my age,” he shares. What brought Peter to this state of anguish and frustration? “I’ve been a sportsman all my life, including endurance sports such as competitive cycling and professional cricket, but I had reoccurring health problems and went to a doctor probably twice a month to get treatments. Then, I’d get back on my bike, train and end up back at the doctor,” he shares of the vicious cycle that was leading him to want to give up his passion. Not only was this physically challenging but emotionally as well. “I just wasn’t myself anymore, I got so down and was feeling so negative,” says Peter.

I had more energy on the bike,” says Peter, adding that

for me, I’ve been able to get rid of a lot of my frustrations

I love,” shares Peter. He’s now busy working his

Peter’s looking forward to living his life the way he
chooses, doing the things he loves and helping others to do
the same.
